Internation Dot Day!

Last week, the children and I celebrated International Dot Day!  We explored Mandellas. We worked with round blocks and balance.  We explored surrounding patterns in nature and with our manipulatives.  Children also experimented by creating art pieces inspired by Kandinsky.  Finally, we had dot snacks, courtesy Anna and her family.  It was an amazing week of fun and learning.  Some of our learning is posted outside the classroom on the bulletin board.  It features highlights of our week.

This week, as the children begin to settle into routines, we will start our Beautiful Stuff Project.  In addition,  we are exploring the idea of line.  Stay tuned!  We are a curious bunch and have exciting things on the horizon!

Enjoy your week.

Fondly,
Jana Miller
